Who on earth is Mjoi?
‘Going back to go forward’ – this is the vision for Mjoi, an exciting new electronic music producer/DJ bringing the roots of Dubstep to the forefront of his music. Based in the UK, Mjoi recalls the Dubstep boom of the early 2010’s as a pinnacle point for many artists receiving wider recognition for their creations, and in turn influencing the unique sound he creates now. Expect a combination of technically strong production and sound design blended with pulsating bass lines and intricate melodies from Mjoi. This notable sound was picked up by BBC Introducing Solent for two recent releases, both being played on their weekly radio show, in support of Mjoi creating music to bring an essence of that indistinguishable festival dance tent experience to any place which they claim “He does so well”.
